Congrats to David Blizzard who is now MARV’s new owner!

Overall 418 raffle tickets were sold – about 3/4 of sales coming from PorcFest attendees. David had snagged his three tickets – including the one randomly selected by Ademo Freeman the last night of PorcFest – online.

Speakers and Events – Porcfest 2011

Some think Porcfest, the Porcupine Freedom Festival held in Lancaster, NH each summer, is nothing more than a week long party with people who do nothing more than eat, drink, smoke pot and bitch about the man. Ok, for a good number of people that’s true and there’s nothing wrong with that but alot more goes on at Porcfest as well. So much that you’ll find yourself debating between which event(s) to attend, or you’ll end up splitting events scheduled at the same times.

PorcFest in 5 Second Clips

*With so much going on we just realized this content from PorcFest had yet to be published – here you go!

When traveling the country we’re constantly asked, “What is Porcfest?” And the answer, “That the Porcupine Freedom Festival (or PorcFest) is the Free State Project’s summer event” doesn’t do it justice. To fully understand theÂ magnitude of Porcfest you have to experience it. Over 1,000 people – nearly all of which subscribe to ideals of less government, no desire to control others and prefer to be left alone -Â camping in the White Mountains of New Hampshire peacefully and without the government’s hand on their shoulder.

Bradley Manning Billboard Erected in Kansas City

More individuals in Kansas City will now be informed about Bradley Manning‘s situation thanks to a new billboard in town. The cost was crowd-sourced among his supporters and others are already talking about replicating the outreach elsewhere.

We often communicate that when there is no victim there is no crime – that sentiment could not be more true than in Manning’s unjust kidnapping, torture and caging. Watchmen and V for Vendetta author Alan Moore nailed it when he said:

Liberty Caravan 2 1/2: Utah to the ‘Shire!

Throughout history individuals have uprooted their lives and relocated to areas where they are better-able to pursue their interests and act without interference from others. They very literally vote with their feet when moving from places like East Germany to West Germany, or from North Korea to South Korea, and soon, from Utah to the ‘shire.

Bryce Nielsen, who is spearheading the convoy/tour Liberty Caravan 2 1/2 will connect with others at meetups along his Utah-to-NH route (to inform them about the Free State Project) and he welcomes others to join the caravan (either visit or move to the ‘shire).
