AUSTIN, TX – Last year when on the road with another project – Motorhome Diaries – Adam and I and our other colleague at the time, Jason Talley, were arrested when traveling through southern Mississippi by Jones County Sheriff’s Deputy James Atkins. Despite the passage of 16 months we have not yet been made whole from the rights-violations we suffered at the hands of Atkins and his colleagues, including Sheriff Alex Hodge, who, immediately after our wrongful arrests, issued public statements that essentially stated that he stood by the actions of his men.
AUSTIN, TX – Last night when cruising east on I-10 we encountered one of the now-permanent checkpoints that’s not actually even on the border itself. Per text put on paper by bureaucrats, men with guns now claim the authority to stop and harass travelers anywhere within 100 miles of the arbitrary political boundary around the entire united states.
The ACLU dubbed these areas “Constitution Free Zones” in a post back in 2006 but I first became aware of them thanks to CheckPointUSA.com and their many informative videos on YouTube (their channel is currently featuring a related video from the Obscured Truth Network, another LOT advertiser).
LAS VEGAS, NV – A couple of days ago Adam and I were walking across a pedestrian bridge on The Vegas Strip when we saw two vehicles being pulled over by the Nevada Highway Patrol. As advocates of holding public officials accountable we filmed the stop.
DENVER, CO – While traveling from Philadelphia to St Louis we made a pit stop in Indianapolis to meet up with a few folks. One night we had dinner with some friends from Kentucky/lower Indiana (pic below). Thanks again to those who drove hours to catch up and socialize with us.
We also spent another night with fellow CopBlock.org contributor Brett Perry and made a few videos. Some with mask attempting to interject humor into libertarian ideas and also the video of us below playing games and exploring the Flying J truck stop we were located at.
KEENE, NH - CopBlock.org (CB) a pro police accountability website that focuses on showing others how to use a camera to hold LEO’s accountable has joined Liberty On Tour. Cop Block covers just about anything police related from beatings, cops behaving badly, the double standard within police and more. We also take pride in filming police officers performing their duty. CopBlock.org wouldn’t have been part of Liberty On Tour without covering some of the sunk cost. So Pete and I offered up a discounted price and Justin & Paula Parmeley Carter (Paula is one of CB’s newest additions) donated the remaining $100.
