Qik is undoubtedly a very powerful tool for those of us who advocate for accountability and transparency, especially when interacting with those who sometimes steal our cameras and delete our footage despite their claims of working for us.
Our most-important usage of Qik is to capture interactions with law enforcement to ensure everyone is held accountable for their actions. Video presents an unbiased. Perhaps the best example of this that we’ve recorded is Adam’s arrest by the Las Vegas PD: His conversation with the cops, my update of his situation a couple of hours later, and a video from Adam the next day after he was released from his cage:
