Pete & Ademo’s Agora session on CopBlock, Voluntaryism & More

Besides Liberty On Tour, Ademo and I devote a lot of our time to Cop Block, which he founded back in Feb. of 2010. It’s a project that has found a lot of traction.

Last week, we engaged in a two-hour dialogue with others in the second Agora I/O in back-to-back sessions on “Brainstorm with Cop Block: Your Feedback, Ideas & Involvement Wanted!” and “Police Interaction and Accountability: Q&A with Cop Block.”

The conversation itself was a bit more freewheeling on topics related to Copblocking, voluntaryism, private defense agencies, tactics and more.

Liberty On Tour Gets Crowd-Sourced

Liberty On Tour (LOT) couples on-the-road activism with new media to advance the voluntary society. When on the road in MARV (in 2011, in 2010, and in 2009 with the Motorhome Diaries) we publish a ton of content, but between tours, the rate isn’t as frequent.

Ademo and I just arrived in Manchester, NH so we can better-focus on our unjust arrests that happened in June. After the conclusion of this legal saga, we plan to hit the road again – this time, under the CopBlock.org banner.

So, we’re making LOT a bit more crowd-sourced to ensure a steady stream of solid content, such as:

DIY: Oil Change on a 2002 Honda XR650L

In early August I left Keene for a couple of weeks on my 2002 Honda XR650L. A friend said I was taking a road trip from a road trip:)

I changed the oil before leaving since my intended route – the ‘shire to OH to VA and back – would put about 2,000mi on my bike. Also a good idea since I had just bought the bike one week prior.

I shot this video of the process using ones of two Flip cameras Kurt J. Hildebrandt recently donated to Liberty On Tour (thanks again bud!). And, since the DIY crowd seems to be pretty self-reliant, I thought some viewers would be receptive to voluntaryism, hence a plug at the end.

Property Rights Activist Jay Noone Remains Steadfast

A month ago we shared with you the story of Jay Noone who, since refusing to pay the ransom demanded by the local organized crime ring in Palmer, MA, was threatened with the theft of his home. Jay didn’t quietly submit. By standing on his principles he’s gained more support and on June 28th – the day he was told his home would be stolen – he was joined by 50 supporters, and today he still lives in his rightfully-acquired property.

Here’s our write-up about that day: Theft Threatened, Jay Noone Stands for Property Rights

An Epic Day in Court for Pete and Ademo

Below is a write-up about Ademo and my first day of trial yesterday posted by our good friend Ian Freeman at FreeKeene.com. Yesterday the “state” rested. Hopefully today we’ll wrap-up with a favorable outcome. After all, there was no victim for our alleged actions.

WOW. Copblock and Liberty on Tour‘s Pete and Ademo went to trial today on felony “wiretapping” charges and “resisting arrest” in Greenfield, MA. (Click for extensive background info.) Over fifty supporters turned out! The courtroom was literally full with liberty-loving friends and associates of Pete and Ademo. Before trial, the “trespassing” charges were dropped, which was the original reason for arrest, but as we have seen, that never stops them from continuing prosecution.
