Hypocritical Greenfield PD Harasses Activists

Officer jaywalking to demand payment from Ademo for an apparent jaywalking 'violation'Last week the Liberty On Tour crew was in Greenfield, MA and was harassed one of the infamous Greenfield PD thugs, Daniel McCarthy(413-773-5411 ext 1305  -  mccarthyd@greenfieldpd.org). The man repeatedly interrogated Ademo for his information, following the crew several times in his cruiser in a stalking manner, and then trying to issue a ticket to Ademo for jaywalking as McCarthy himself, jaywalked across the street to issue the citation.  Soon after, a few other officers appeared on the scene, all armed, and one even armed with a camera.  As quickly as the officers appeared on the scene, all of them, minus McCarthy scurried off to the cop shop, leaving the original stalker to continue his seemingly endless harassment.

LOT Joins Students For Liberty’s Southeast Regional Conference

MIAMI, FL – Two weeks ago Adam and I joined 120 other liberty-oriented individuals at Students For Liberty‘s (SFL) Southeast Regional Conference held at Kennesaw State University. The day was packed with thought-provoking speakers and conversation and we were fortunate to lead one of three breakout sessions.

As was hopefully communicated via the video – the day was solid thanks to to the caliber of the organizers and those present. It’s not a stretch to say that Adam and I both left optimistic. We connected with people we had not yet met in-person and we saw first-hand just how passionate and capable many of those present are about advancing the ideas of liberty.

DEA & FBI Agree – Drug Prohibition is Futile

NEW ORLEANS, LA – This past Monday when in Austin I joined a few friends – John Bush, Heather Fazio, Gabe Bigger and Monica Mercado – at the monthly Public Safety Commission meeting. On the agenda was the Joint Juvenile Gang Taskforce briefing, featuring comments by DEA, FBI, TX Dept. of Public Safety and Austin Police Department personnel about juvenile gangs in the area and their relationship to drug prohibition.

All of these law enforcement agents readily admit their inability to stem the violence that accompanies drug prohibition, and for good reason – economics.
