LOT Joins Students For Liberty’s Southeast Regional Conference

MIAMI, FL – Two weeks ago Adam and I joined 120 other liberty-oriented individuals at Students For Liberty‘s (SFL) Southeast Regional Conference held at Kennesaw State University. The day was packed with thought-provoking speakers and conversation and we were fortunate to lead one of three breakout sessions.

As was hopefully communicated via the video – the day was solid thanks to to the caliber of the organizers and those present. It’s not a stretch to say that Adam and I both left optimistic. We connected with people we had not yet met in-person and we saw first-hand just how passionate and capable many of those present are about advancing the ideas of liberty.

If you’re in college I encourage you to get involved with SFL – see if there’s a student group on your campus already networked with the organization or start your own. And consider joining them this February at the 2011 International Students For Liberty Conference in DC.

For more, check out the resources and week-long seminars for college students available through the Foundation for Economic Education and The Institute for Humane Studies.

Joe, most of the folks featured in this video are college students, some of whom have jobs, some of whom do not.

Some of the speakers are college students themselves. Others work at think tanks (see the subtitle for each speaker to see the org at which they’re placed). As for Adam and myself, LOT was our latest project. If you’re new to LOT you can find out more at: http://libertyontour.com/about or watch this video (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lN56nT94byE) which we sent to organizations/businesses/people to inform them about us, our plans and how they can get involved.

Let me know if anything is unclear. Thanks.
