MARV Rolls Through Internal Checkpoint Unscathed

AUSTIN, TX – Last night when cruising east on I-10 we encountered one of the now-permanent checkpoints that’s not actually even on the border itself. Per text put on paper by bureaucrats, men with guns now claim the authority to stop and harass travelers anywhere within 100 miles of the arbitrary political boundary around the entire united states.

The ACLU dubbed these areas “Constitution Free Zones” in a post back in 2006 but I first became aware of them thanks to CheckPointUSA.com and their many informative videos on YouTube (their channel is currently featuring a related video from the Obscured Truth Network, another LOT advertiser).

We were warned that we’d likely encounter at least one checkpoint and had already hashed out our game plan. Sure, it would have been easier and likely less-time-consuming to inform the stranger that we were all born within the arbitrary political boundaries of the united states, but why? Why give a stranger any information? Especially one that’s not too friendly?

Fortunately, thanks to sticking to our guns, we rolled past the “Paper’s please!” shack and continued on. Peacefully.

For another excellent related resource and a supportive community of individuals, check out CopBlock.org, another project myself, Adam and a number of other good folks are active with.
