EDGEWATER, NJ – The day before we officially kicked-off Liberty On Tour we had a little run-in with the local “authorities”. It wasn’t anything too big – a property owner complained that MARV was parked in his parking lot – but we thought we’d share some video from the incident in the hope that it helps communicate some pointers on how to interact with the cops.
After my arraignment in Greenfield, MA on Monday Adam and I drove to Danbury, CT, to position us a bit closer to NYC – our first of 13 stops for LOT. Unfortunately the parking lot at the Starbucks – where we were working from – wasn’t too big so we parked across the street. At one point I returned to MARV where it was quiet to record a narrative when I noticed two Danbury cops pull up. Fortunately, I had my video camera nearby and as this video shows and we were soon on our way.

It must be a huge problem to find places to park that thing.
LOL, they “cop blocked” you in by parking in front of you it seems!
Depends where we’re at George. Our first couple of stops – NYC and Philly – will likely be the most difficult of the Tour.
You’re right Stacy – I had to ask them to move when I was driving off. They moved some. Then realized they needed to move more. I was honestly worried that they’d trail me and make up a reason to pull me over. As I left another squad (a Charger) showed up (maybe officer #24 you hear radio in during one of the clips to say they’re in route) and after I exited the lot I saw a fourth Danbury cop cruise by though I’m not sure if they were responding.
She was kinda hawt, Pete.
U look ed pretty sexy working out in the starbucks parking lot tonight
Not sure what you’re up to tonight but we’ll be joining a group of good folks in NYC at Alibi on Macdougal near NYU: http://www.facebook.com/event.php?eid=110122522369169&ref=ts

Hope you check out what we post here on LOT from time to time and if you ever have suggestions for us as we visit more cities let us know. Take care!
