KEENE, NH – The aptly-named School Sucks Project – which has the tagline (and noble goal) of “The End of Public Education”, is now on-board as a Black Package advertiser thanks to the generosity of Debbie ‘The Suburban Voluntaryist.” From their About page:
The END…of Public Education?
1. END: It’s over, irrelevant, useless, needs to be done away with. Does far more harm than good (it does no good).
2. END: (As in means to an end) We’ll also explore the true intentions behind the system, which have very little to do with real education. There is substantial evidence that its failure to educate is no accident.
School Sucks Podcast is a show about what one might do about these problems…
Adam and I have both been pimping the School Sucks Project while doing outreach to local middle schoolers here in Keene and have had the great fortune to not just meet but interview, shower, spend the night and wash clothes at Debbie’s home, so we know this will be a fruitful relationship.
We encourage you to become familiar with School Sucks Project and Debbie’s writings as both are excellent resources couched in voluntaryism and we look forward to introducing people to them when on tour!
